Clare Kuo is a graphic designer in the San Francisco Bay Area that specializes in packaging design, brand identity, print and web design. Clare is from Tainan, Taiwan where she was mentored at a young age by her uncle, a professional oil painter and art instructor. Clare's interests ranged from sketching and oil painting to playing the Chinese lute (pipa), photography, dance, and aboriginal art and music.

After earning an Arts and Crafts diploma from Tainan Woman's College of Arts and Technology, Clare traveled to Vancouver, BC to study fine art at Kwantlen University College. Her passion for graphic design led her to the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where she completed her Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in 2003 with an emphasis in packaging design.

Clare interned at Landor Associates where she worked on beverage packaging design for several Coors Brewing Company brands. She moved to Las Vegas to design for the food and entertainment industries at Schadler Kramer Group Advertising. Her clients included Planet Hollywood, MGM Grand, Wolfgang Puck, Starr Restaurant, W Hotel, Seminole Hard Rock, Montage Resort, Mandalay Bay, etc. Clare then returned to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2005 where she worked as a Senior Designer at FINE Design Group for five years. While at FINE Clare worked with clients across many industries including high-tech, food and beverage, financial, etc. She engaged in design projects at multiple levels, including design strategy and execution, pricing/quotes, and production. Clare is currently a freelance graphic designer and enjoys painting.
